Elkana
Elkana is an elven fairy girl with blonde hair and a Celtic outfit. She is the main character of the Fairy Racing series. She is considered a balanced character in terms of speed, acceleration, and handling. Elkana used to ride in go karts as a child. When she was invited to the Fairy Grand Prix, she decided to upgrade her childhood go kart using magical stones and chemicals.
Sinnestra
Sinnestra is an elven fairy girl with brown hair in a bun and a pastel Celtic outfit. She is one of the main characters in the Fairy Racing series. She is considered a balanced character in terms of speed, acceleration, and handling. Sinnestra is an artistic driver. She enjoys decorating her ATV for shows and other performances.
Gumbella
Gumbella is an elven fairy girl with pink hair in a bun and a pastel Celtic outfit. She is one of the main characters in the Fairy Racing series. She is considered a balanced character in terms of speed, acceleration, and handling. Gumbella enjoys riding go karts for fun. Her favorite place is the Cloudtop Carnival, where she first started riding go karts before entering in the Fairy Grand Prix. Her lighter weight makes her slightly faster, but also more prone to knock back.
Berella
Berella is an elven fairy girl with a blonde retro hairstyle, a tan pink dress with arm puffs, and a mini crown. Her iconic signature go kart (affectionately referred to as her 'royal chariot') is solid black with glowing neon pink accents, including underglow. Berella is a self-proclaimed "Fairy Princess" and spends much of her time enjoying croquet, visiting art museums, and collecting information about various fairies in the village.
Verdafdra
Verdafdra is one of the main characters in the Fairy Racing series. She has short black hair, a dark Celtic outfit, a purple and black scarf, and facial scars. She is considered a balanced character in terms of speed, acceleration, and handling. Verdafdra is the leader of the Dark Fairies, who are commonly found at the Dark Castle. Verdafdra is not playable in the original Fairy Racing 64, however, in subsequent games (including its later port, Fairy Racing Deluxe), players can take advantage of her special Dark Fairy abilities.
